Karen Avakian is a 30-year veteran of trade with China, often acting as liaison between Chinese, European and American companies and government agencies. An entrepreneur, Karen is CEO of Water Safe Solutions, which builds “green” portable potable water systems and desalination equipment. Establishing international networks of major development banks and aid agencies has honed Karen’s expertise in marketing and financing water purification systems. A theater devotee and patron, Karen has produced plays in New York City and Brussels. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Her professional affiliations include NEXCO and the Global Business Roundtable. |
