A former marathon runner and anthropologist, Douglas Samuelsen views client projects in the long-term. Clear-thinking, witty, and skillful, Doug works to diffuse conflict by identifying the strategies that give potential adversaries a mutual interest in the outcome. Doug was affiliated with a leading law firm in Seattle, Washington and two Minnesota litigation boutiques prior to founding his firm in 1996. He has litigated product liability and other claims in Federal Court, as well as on the state level.
Doug earned a Juris Doctorate at the University of California-Berkeley, M.A. in Anthropology at Ohio State University, and B.A. at Minnesota State University. In addition, Doug studied Public International Law and International Law of Human Rights at the London School of Economics and Politics.
