Amanda Hawn is savvy, perceptive, and even-handed. Watermark Initiative, LLC draws upon her ability to synthesize the varied perspectives of business, academic, and government sectors. Amanda has extensive photographic, writing, and teaching credentials. Her assignments have included photographing chimpanzees in the bush and researching population dynamics among coral reef fish. Her many articles on ecology, conservation, and rural development have appeared in The Economist, The New York Times, Conservation in Practice, as well as The Ecosystem Marketplace.
Amanda holds an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University and a graduate degree in Zoology from the University of Cape Town's Percy FitzPatrick Institute.
