Since 1994, Alyssa’s scientific research and policy consulting work has introduced her to such places as Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. She has examined river basin modeling, climate variability, and the economics of food and water for
numerous international water stewardship institutions. Whether working for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or the Colorado State Parks, Alyssa understands both the hard and soft paths to sustainable water resource development. In addition to working as a consultant, Alyssa has taught courses at her alma mater and authored various reports and articles for scientific publications. Currently, Alyssa is an independent contractor at the International Food Policy Research Institute and an Instructor of Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder. In addition to her Ph.D., Alyssa received a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Colorado, Boulder. |
